GDM conducted the late-sown corn tour in Argentina

With the aim of observing and analyzing the progress of the late-sown corn breeding program, focusing on the products developed for regions such as Cordoba, NEA and NOA, the GDM team conducted a tour in Jesús María and surroundings, which included technical presentations and field tours.

The day began at GDM’s offices in Cordoba, with presentations focused on strategy, breeding approach and analysis of candidate hybrids in the pre-commercial stage. This was followed by a field tour to observe different stages of development.

This tour was an important milestone for the Late Sowing Program. We were able to show in depth the work we have been doing and share with GDM leaders and their teams our vision for the potential of the materials we are developing. The day was not only a very rich technical event, but also the starting point of a new stage, in which the synergy between GDM and KWS genetics begins to take concrete form. It is very motivating to see how efforts and strategies are aligned to continue strengthening this program’, said Fátima Montiel, LAS Corn Breeding Manager at GDM.

Ignacio Bartolomé, CEO of the company, participated in the meeting together with members of the Executive Committee and representatives from the Research, Development, Production and Commercial teams.
