GDM at Argentina Week

GDM participated in Argentina Week, an international business and economic promotion event, this week in New York City alongside more than 300 global business leaders and key Argentine government officials. The main objective of the meeting was to promote investment opportunities in strategic sectors in Argentina.

During the meeting, Ignacio Bartolomé, CEO, presented GDM’s story, reviewing our history, growth and vision for the future. He also highlighted the strategic role of Argentine agriculture as one of the sectors with the greatest potential for growth and foreign exchange. ‘Argentina has the opportunity to become a global hub for seed genetics if it achieves clear rules and intellectual property protection,’ he said.

The meetings took place at key locations such as the Argentine Consulate, JPMorgan Chase tower on Park Avenue, Bank of America offices and Microsoft headquarters in Times Square. The opening address was given by Argentine President Javier Milei and attendess included executives from multinational companies and investment fund representatives interested in strategic sectors of the Argentine economy.
