With the aim of presenting the development of the current corn pipeline and future strategies, the first Pipeline Team meeting was successfully held, with the presence of Ignacio Bartolomé, CEO of GDM, members of the Executive Committee, and managers of the Research, Development, Production, Marketing and Commercial teams.
During the day, meetings were held in the office and, later, the group visited fields in the north and south core zone to see the potential and stability of the current portfolios, explore the candidate hybrids to move from the development stage to the commercial stage, and witness the promising future of GDM germplasm.
‘The synergy between the teams made it seem like we have been working together for years. The common goal of all areas to be a leader in the corn market is challenging; it motivates us to undertake and do more and better things. In this tour, we saw part of the future that allows us to dream big and believe that we can be in the top 3 of corn market share,’ said Federico Larrosa, responsible for LAS corn product development.
