GDM participated in Academia 360, an event organized by Sementes Estrella that brings together leading agribusiness professionals, specialists and producers for a two-day debate on the most relevant topics in the world of seeds. The meeting took place in Rio Grande Do Sul on Monday, June 2.



Ignacio Bartolomé, CEO of GDM, led a talk explaining the history of the company and its incursion into the Brazilian market. He also discussed the company’s work in genetic improvement for various crops. Bartolomé was joined by Santiago De Stefano, LATAM & South Africa Business Executive Director and Sergio Bertagnolli, BR Commercial Executive Manager – Soybean and Wheat South.
The event celebrated 50 years of Sementes Estrella and covered technical topics on soybean seed genetics, soil trends, biotechnologies, breeding, pest and disease resistance and strategies to achieve higher productivity. The focus was on the impact of innovation for the future of agriculture, taking into account market demands and environmental requirements.
