Our CEO, Ignacio Bartolomé, received the Busisnessman of the Year award at the Innovation Awards, organized by Visa and La Nación. “I’m very happy and grateful for this recognition. I see it as a tribute to the team, because I couldn’t achieve anything without them and the passion they bring to our work every day,” said the GDM leader.
The Innovation Awards celebrated their fifth edition with the goal of highlighting the most innovative and creative efforts across Argentina’s key industries. Within this context, Ignacio Bartolomé was honored following the acquisition and exponential growth of GDM.
“When I look back on our family’s journey, which began in 1982, I get emotional. I carried the responsibility of continuing my father’s legacy, and today it’s something I truly enjoy — thanks to the support of my family. As a company, we now have the responsibility to show the world what Argentina is capable of, and to prove that with so much potential, our country can thrive globally”, said Ignacio after receiving the award.
He also highlighted the work of the entire team and shared GDM’s aspirations for the future:
“This award belongs to the team and to the passion they bring every day, helping us continue to grow. Without them, I couldn’t do anything. We have 4,000 Messis — passionate and motivated to deliver a product that truly adds value for our customers. Looking ahead, I’d love for us to become the number one seed company in the world.”
