Marcos Quiroga is Research Director at GDM. He is responsible for developing worldwide soybean and wheat genetics research strategies to drive increased productivity. In this role he leads an International Research team focused on supplying the different commercial channels of the company in all territories.
He joined Don Mario in 1997 as a production assistant. In 1998 he took the challenge of developing the Soybean Breeding Program of the company and from 1999 he has also been in charge of developing the Wheat Breeding Program Quiroga was responsible for the expansion of the Soybean Breeding Program first within Argentina and then to all South American countries, the USA and Africa. Since 2003 Marcos has participated as a board member in the continuing development of the Brazilian businesses.
Marcos graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in Agronomy in 1999. He is the creator of more than 100 soybean PVPA registrations in different countries.
Marcos and his wife Sofia have been married since 2002. They have three sons: Mateo, Segundo and Fermin, and they live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
